Post Placement Home Study (click here)
The state of Florida requires three post-placement interviews at one, two, and three months, but interstate or international regulations may have other interview requirements.
This process includes at least one 2-hour in-home visit and in office visits and multiple copies of each 3-4-page notarized report. The total fee for all 3 or more required post placements is due at the time of the first post placement visit. Domestic adoptions also require a Recommendation of Finalization Report which is only $50 due also at the first visit. Total costs are approximately $300 for post placement study plus finalization report.

2) provided the petitioners live at the same address and

Inclusion in Adoptive Parent Profile Page (click here)
We find that in the course of working through and un-planned pregnancy, many birth mothers will look at our web site to process the decision of placing their baby for adoption. The initial contact she may make with your family can often be a picture or description of your loving home and character. Providing your profile on our web site will help facilitate your success in the adoption of a new born child as it give the birth mom a chance to look specifically at your family.
Yearly listing as the adopting parent profile on hopeforfamilies.org website is $500 (Breakdown of this annual fee and services outlined in the agency contract)
International Home Study (click here)
$2,300 for International adoption home study reports completed in at the petitioners’ home in their country of residence, plus airfare for two, a car rental and hotel for 3 nights. It is solely the petitioners’ responsibility to ensure that a report completed by Hope for Families will be accepted in the country of the intended adoption as Hope for Families is licensed only in Florida.
Hope for Families does not guarantee that its International Home Study Report report will facilitate an out of country adoption so we strongly recommend that the petitioners receive legal opinion as we never want to disappoint our families.
Paying for the costs associated with Adoption (click here)
Loans are one way to pay for some or all adoption costs. Some organizations offer low-interest adoption loans to qualifying families. You can also talk to your bank about home equity or line of credit loans, although they are usually at a higher interest rate than that offered for adoption-specific loans. While loans do require repayment, there are resources that can help you with that once your adoption is finalized, such as the Adoption Tax Credit.
We want to help make your dream of adoption come true by providing resources and information about mortgage-based loans, credit cards, and other financial resources.
Please click on our Financing Options link for more information to help you.
NOTE: ALL PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND TO BE VERIFIED BY WRITTEN CONTRACT.
