HOPE for FAMILIES: ADOPTION and COUNSELING SERVICES, INC., is a non-profit Child Placing Agency licensed in the State of Florida (#08060100).  Our purpose is to help by providing prompt, professional, confidential and compassionate Florida adoption home studies for adopting parents throughout the entire State of Florida for the lowest flat fee available. Our goal is to make the Home Study a positive experience and support you in becoming adoptive parents. 

Our friendly and efficient process…                                                 
My dear wife, Lynn, and I love to travel to meet with people to educate them about the adoption process and complete this necessary report.  We discreetly visit adopting parents in their homes wherever they live throughout the State of Florida. As a special blessing to our adopting families we have chosen to WAIVE MILEAGE AND TRAVEL EXPENSES (but there is an additional charge above 200 miles for the Florida panhandle). Our visit with you is four to five hours in your home with all the family members who reside in the home. On the same day, at the in home visit, we actually do four separate 1--hour interviews, which include the necessary educational components.  This allows us to get to know you and write your entire adoption home study report during the home study on our laptop computer. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only Florida adoption home study provider that supplies to you an initial rough draft of your adoption home study on a CD which we give you at the end of the interview! Other agencies require the adoptive parents to spend many long hours doing extensive writing assignments and detailed questionnaires which essentially writes the report for them. You will only need to complete a few short questionnaires, provide specific documents and identification as per the link at the bottom of this page, and allow us to view your child’s new home. We will ask you during the interview to share the necessary information about your marriage, family of origin, employment, education, finances, values, lifestyle, parenting ideas, and feelings about adoption.   We also offer resource materials, pre and post placement adoption counseling, adoption education and personal support throughout the process of completing your home study.  Our mission is to make the home study an enjoyable, stress free process, while completing the most professional, well written, universally accepted adoption home studies possible.  We ensure that our report will meet the requirements of the USCIS and your agency and every one of our home study reports has been accepted by every agency, country, state and immigration authority.

Our prompt Service…
We return all inquiries the same day and try to schedule the informative home visit, within two weeks.  Our priority is to effectively and efficiently conduct Home Studies and offer an extremely fast turn around time, within one month, from the initial call to the completed report.  This timetable is dependent on the adoptive parents submission of the background check clearances and the necessary documents as per the list on the home study page, and interview scheduling.  Even faster service is available at a slightly additional fee.  Assuming the home visit is positive, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Fingerprint, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Department of Children & Family (DCF), and local law enforcement background checks are clear, we commit to forwarding the notarized 7-9 page Home Study report within 21 days to the client and/or agencies, which is the fastest service available in the profession.  Many agencies have commented that Hope for Families has the quickest service they have ever experienced and refer all their clients to us due to our well crafted adoption home studies in Florida.  This type of service is only possible because my darling wife Lynn assists me with the correspondence, scheduling, interviews, compilation, and production of the Home Studies.  Our reports have been commended by the president of the Florida Adoption Council, officials in the Department of Children and Family, and we have received many letters of recommendation from our adopting parents as you can review in our Testimonial link.
